So following your invitation, here the list of my inspirational saints 2013:

Nina. The experience of a shared sense of knowing, feeling and relating has been wonderful and I treasure all (yellow) meditations we have done together. You have, more than once, cut with clarity directly into some of my deeper layers and challenged some of my real shit – that which I was either oblivious to or had chosen to ignore… Good to have you in my life.

Holger and Anka. You have brought a wonderful energy into my life. I cherish all the times we have shared together as a triad and in two’s, exploring and enjoying LIFE and the wonderlands of consciousness (and the inside of supermarket bins ;)). Priceless. Watching you both live Life to the max in your unique ways is energizing.

Phil. Simply observing you walking your path is inspirational. Being around you evokes a deeper presence in me, a refreshing calmness that allows me to be more open to what is happening right now, and to open up to myself more fully. It has been a gift to get to know you.

My mother Heike. Your strong unconditional love and care is like a springboard, allowing me to jump into life with confidence and trust, with the knowledge that I can always bounce back whenever I want and need to. In a lot of ways you give me guidance in how to relate to others in love.

My father Scott. It has been beautiful to see how you are facing up to life and its challenges with a brave and also tender heart. You have shown that there is no point paddling against the flow of life, and in fact, that it’s worth trusting that when you let it move you, it will take you to beautiful places within yourself. Your fatherly advice to live my life beautifully when I was feeling desperate is the best advice I’ve received.

Rahel. You brighten up my (uni) world! I appreciate your way of thinking, which is often very different to mine. It opens up new ways of seeing and approaching things, both inside and outside of the uni-context. It has been wonderful to see you do (and shake!) your thing and how this is making you be the comfortable and confident woman you are.

Simone. You live and express a lot of things that I want to integrate into my life more. Your strong connection with nature, your creativity and just do it- approach to life is inspirational and a wonderful reminder that life is too short for it to be dictated by irrational fears around security and societal standards.

Eva and Katharina, my fellow Waldmünchen-interns. I cannot describe how much it means to me to have shared that special time with you in that special psychosomatic clinic, where being human is welcomed. I feel blessed having experienced your passionate and authentic self-explorations, and grateful for the realness of our interactions. It means a lot to me that I was able to let all my vulnerabilities hang out with you in that stuffy little intern room. Thank you for holding me.

Jon. My partner and best friend. As has been so clear to me for a long time, you help me open doors to myself that would remain closed for much longer without you. By being who you are, you open, soften and strengthen me, continuously bringing me closer to myself. With you I am learning what is possible within and through a relationship, which excites me beyond belief and makes my belly do somersaults every time I think about it.

Jess
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6278115441557880568.post-90819387682076160892013-12-30T06:14:20.123-08:002013-12-30T06:14:20.123-08:00Thank you for this incredible acknowledgement, bro...Thank you for this incredible acknowledgement, brother. The Fraternity that we share continues to transform my life and perspectives. May the brilliance that is generated between us and through us continue to light the way forward. It is a blessing to be in fellowship.
